Price Schema
Price Schema is structured data markup using the Schema.org Offer type that communicates a product's price and currency to search engines in a machine-readable format. It is almost always implemented alongside Product Schema as part of a complete Offer entity, and includes properties such as price, priceCurrency, and priceValidUntil.
When properly validated, Price Schema enables Google to display pricing information in rich results, allowing users to see the cost of a product directly in the SERP without clicking through. Prices displayed must match those on the page, and outdated or mismatched pricing can result in the rich result being suppressed.
Why it matters for SEO
Displaying price in search results is a significant competitive differentiator — it attracts price-conscious buyers who are ready to purchase and filters out those who would bounce anyway. Accurate price markup also builds trust by matching what users see in search to what they find on the page.
